It was an extravaganza full of epicurean delights. Some of the best food in the Brazos Valley was out for a Mardi Gras Celebration at the Brazos Center.
The 16th annual Chamber of Commerce Epicurean Extravaganza brought out the crowds.
Restaurants from around the area had some of their best food out for sampling. You could taste everything from mouth-watering appetizers to pastries and even beverages.
About 30 area restaurants brought out their menu favorites.
Organizers took the Mardi Gras theme seriously. The good times were rolling and there were beads galore.
The Most Hospitable award was given to Jason's Deli. For the best decorated booth the Texas Roadhouse took home the prize. And last but not least, the award for Best Food was given to Abuelos.
Funds raised will go to the events sponsored by the BCS Chamber of Commerce.
The Brazos Valley Restaurant Association also helped put on the event. Other sponsors include: HEB, First National Bank, State Bank, Names & Numbers, Tops Printing, Texas Commercial Waste, Copy Corner, DeLucia Mail Service and Britt Rice.
