A Texas A&M student was killed Tuesday night in a major accident on the Twin Cities' most notable street.
Authorities in College Station say an SUV and a motorcycle collided on Texas Avenue near city hall and the Chili's restaurant Tuesday night. Car parts and clothes were found strewn upwards of one hundred yards away.
Police say the occupant of the SUV, 19-year-old Carrie Blain, was taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center, where she was treated for cuts and bruises and released.
The driver of the motorcycle, 20-year-old Michael Weber of Houston, was also taken to St. Joseph where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
Weber is listed as a sophomore on the Texas A&M website.
No charges have been filed at this time, however, the case remains under investigation.
