Authorities have arrested a fourth suspect in the death last month of a prominent Houston doctor who was shot several times as he arrived at his 30-acre ranch with his family.
The 22-year-old suspect, Noel Galvan, worked as a hand on the ranch in Bellville and was wounded in the Aug. 22 shootout that left Dr. Jorge Mario Gonzalez dead. Two of the other suspects in the slaying are Galvan's brothers, and the third is his cousin.
A statement from the Austin County Sheriff's Department in Sealy says Galvan was arrested at his home in Houston on Sept. 16. He's held in the Harris County Jail without bond.
Gonzalez was critical-care chief at The Methodist Hospital in Houston and had a thriving private practice.
It's unclear from Harris County Jail records online whether Galvan has an attorney.

savage behavior continues. Is it gonna end up being linked to the cartel too? Thoughts and prayers to the Doctors family.
I thought it seemed unusual that he was not seriously injured and the doctor was fatally injured.
Great investigative work by the Austin County Sheriff's Dept. and other LE! Thank you for your hard work to ensure those responsible for the death of Dr. Gonzalez are arrested.
