A Bryan man injured in a Friday morning accident is still listed in serious condition.
Around 7 a.m. Bryan police said Ryan Eilrich, 24, was headed north on Texas Avenue when his vehicle drifted into another lane. Officals said when Eilrich over-corrected, the vehicle spun off the road and crashed into a steel pole.
In order to free Eilrich from his vehilce, firefighters had to use the jaws of life. He was taken by life flight to Scott and White in Temple. The accident closed a section of Texas Avenue near Highway 21 for a couple of hours.
