One person is dead after a two-vehicle accident Saturday morning on FM 60 in Burleson County.
Authorities said about 6:15 a.m., Casey Nicole Ward, 20, of Snook and a passenger were westbound when Ward began to drift off of the road.
She overcorrected and crashed into the eastbound path of an oncoming vehicle. Ward was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected.
Her passenger, Samuel Arthur Nash, 25, of Snook was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other driver, Linda Burns,39, of Somerville is in serious condition. Ward is in stable condition. Both women were taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan.
