Perry's Not Looking to be VP

Governor Rick Perry says he's "got the best job in the world" -- and that he's not interested in being on a 2008 ticket for the White House.

Perry is in Washington this week for a National Governors Association meeting.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday, he dismissed speculation he might be interested in serving as a running mate to the eventual presidential nominee.

Democratic Pennsylvania Governor Ed Rendell, another name often linked as a vice president candidate, also said he's not interested in the job.
