It was a tall honor for a long time leader of TEEX Sunday afternoon.

The new two-story, H.D. Smith Operations Complex at the Brayton Fire Traning Field was dedicated and named in honor of one of their finest, Henry D. Smith.

It was during Smith's tenure that the training field doubled in size, and several new training porgrams were initiated.

The new center boasts a welcome center, communications center, and several large classrooms.

The operations complex is part of a multi-million dollar upgrade initiative at the training field.
