Hundreds Come Out for First Annual Armadillo Dash
The first annual Armadillo Dash half marathon and 5K drew runners from all over. About 1,000 eager racers tied up their sneakers and warmed up before hitting the road.

The first annual Armadillo Dash, half marathon and 5K drew runners from all over.
Nearly 1,000 eager racers tied up their sneakers and warmed up before hitting the road.
Both the 5K and half marathon began at Central Park and followed a course through some city streets and area neighborhoods.
The race even drew some avid runners all the way from Washington state and Missouri.
Cash awards were given to the winners of both the half marathon and 5K races. The prizes ranged from $50 to $200 dollars.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Scotty's House.
