It was a rude awakening for some Iola residents who awoke to find FBI agents swarming their neighborhood. When the dust had settled, two of the state's most prolific bank robbery suspects were in handcuffs.
It all went down at 7:45 Friday morning on Cottontail Lane in Iola. William Terrell, 33, and Eugenio Carola, 33, were taken into custody by members of the FBI and Grimes County Sheriff's Office who surrounded their home. Terrell was arrested on an outstanding warrant for aggravated robbery out of Bexar County. Carola was charged with possession of a controlled substance.
Monday, the two were served with a federal warrant for bank robbery. Terrell and Carola are suspects in at least nine bank robberies throughout Texas.
Neighbors say the home where Terrell and Carola were living is owned by a relative of one of the suspects. They say the men moved in a couple of weeks ago and mostly kept to themselves.

The good news is the scumbag criminals were arrested and they are no longer in the community! Now isn't that wonderful? Cottontail Lane in Keith or Iola? Just be glad the scumbags no longer breathe the air in your area or occupy space in your area!!!

No Cottontail is not in keith..it is about halfway between Iola and Keith. But even if it was, the community of Keith is still considered Iola as thats our assigned address.
