Soldier from The Woodlands Killed in Iraq

More soldiers with ties to Texas have died after improvised bombs went off in Iraq.

The Defense Department says:
-- Twenty-two-year-old Private Mark W. Graham of Lafayette, Louisiana, died Wednesday at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio. The Fort Hood soldier was injured in a March second bombing in Baghdad. Graham was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Brigade, 1st Cavalry Division at Fort Hood.

-- A soldier from the Houston area was among six killed Monday in a bombing in Samarra. The victims included 19-year-old Private First Class Cory C. Kosters of The Woodlands. Kosters was assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
