The Texas A&M men's basketball team will play Penn in Round One of the NCAA Tournament. The Aggies and Quakers will hit the floor 30 minutes after the conclusion of the Louisville-Stanford game, which tips off at 11:40 a.m. Thursday. You can see the game live on KBTX.
The Aggies and the Quakers meet Thursday in Lexington, Kentucky. The Ags are the third seed in the South Region.
Penn, the 14 seed, is the Ivy League champion for the third straight season. They defeated Yale, 86-58, to become the first team to earn a bid to the NCAA tournament.
The men in maroon come in with a 25-6 record, while the Quakers are 22-8.
Penn went 13-1 in the Ivy League during its conference regular season schedule and was paced by Mark Zoller, who averaged 18 points and seven rebounds on the season. Ibrahim Jaaber and Brian Grandieri also averaged double figures in scoring for the Quakers.

A&M is 4-8 overall in the NCAA tournament. It's the first time in school history that they've made the tourney in back-to-back years. It's also the Aggies' first time to have three-straight 20-win seasons.
