A 19-year-old Texas woman who's accused of killing her two young children says she's "sorry for everything."
Valerie Lopez is accused of hiding the bodies of her children, ages 14 months and five months, under her apartment.
Police say she admitted to beating her daughter to death in December and accidentally rolling over her infant son in February.
In an interview with a San Antonio newspaper, Lopez said she was "sorry for everything." She said she suffers from bipolar disorder but stopped taking her medication because it got too expensive to go to the doctor.
Lopez has been charged with capital murder in the death of her 14-month-old daughter and is being held on ten (m) million dollars bond. Prosecutors say they plan to seek the death penalty.
Lopez's boyfriend has been charged with injury to a child by omission. Police say he knew Lopez was abusing her children.
