Spring Break turned deadly for a pair of local college students.

A car accident on the coast killed two Blinn College students from San Antonio. Both attended Blinn in Bryan.

Authorities say Parisa Biglari, 18, and a 19-year-old man identified as Shelton Uptmore were killed in a two-car collision in Port Aransas late Thursday.

Authorities say the Jeep Liberty in which the couple were riding collided with an on-coming pickup, causing the Jeep to burst into flames.

Both Biglari and Uptmore were pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the pickup were not seriously injured.

Blinn College officials say Uptmore was a sophomore and was on schedule to graduate.
