Ags for Kyle says it's a step closer to re-illuminating the giant letters attached to the outside of the Aggies football stadium. Organizers say since they first got the bright idea to light up the giant letters spelling out "Kyle Field" in October, they have received an outpouring of support from the community. The group plans to sell T-shirts to raise money at the October 31 home game. So far, it has raised $2,500 toward a goal of $150,000.

This isn't a new idea, the lettering used to be lit up, but maintenance was expensive. The university decided not to keep spending the money. The new lights wouldn't require as much maintenance and would be funded through this org. Sounds good to me.

TR, that's like saying if the orange light bulb that illuminates your tower in Austin were to burn out, there would be no need to replace it. Go away.
