One tool stalkers often use is the internet. Now, the state's top law enforcement official is hoping you protect your family against cyber predators.
Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott held a cyber safety town hall meeting at Bryan High School's Blue Campus auditorium.
Those in attendance were provided with a video on internet safety, along with frank talk from officials who are on the front lines of fighting cyber crimes.
"Most parents are unaware how to warn their children about being safe on the Internet," Abbott said. "The main thing these conferences acccomplish is to educate parents how to educate the children about being safe on the Internet, and in that regard, they're very successful."
