Anyone with over due library books and DVDs could be getting a call from a collection agency.
For the first time the Bryan-College Station libraries will be using a collection agency to get people to return materials.
Unique Management Services has offered their expertise to B-CS libraries for a 90-day trail period to collect fines and fees on their behalf.
Last year the libraries were unable to collect fees totaling over $150,000.
Community librarian Clara Mounce says those with overdue items will have sufficient time to return them before the collection agency calls.
"You have 60 says to handle it properly and that's plenty of time for any body to take care of something," Mounce said.
The libraries will begin using the collection agency on April 1.
