A million-dollar lottery prize has gone unclaimed. That's what employees are saying at the convenience store where the ticket was sold.
A Texas Two Step ticket worth $1,075,000 expired at midnight on March 31.
The winning numbers were 6-20-28-31, with the bonus ball being 23. A ticket matching all five numbers was sold at the Exxon Express Mart at 505 N. Harvey Mitchell Parkway in Bryan.
Since the prize was not claimed, the money will be transferred to the Unclaimed Prize Fund. The first $10 million in unclaimed prizes each fiscal year is allocated to the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. After that, unclaimed prize money goes to the General Revenue Fund.
