A TORNADO WATCH has been issued for Lee county until 4pm and for Milam and Robertson counties until 6pm. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Milam, Robertson, Leon Counties until 9pm Monday, for Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery,San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, and Washington Counties until 10pm Monday, and for Lee county until 1am Tuesday. An additional widespread 1" to 3" rain accumulations are possible through Monday, with locally higher amounts possible.
The Milano Water Supply Corporation says their water is now safe to drink.
The corporation lifted its boil water notice Wednesday for all customers in the Chriesman, Friendship and Seven Star communities in Burleson County and customers in southern Milam county.
Officials with the corporation say the well's motor and pump broke down Sunday, causing concern about the safety of the water.
