Strong to severe thunderstorms will be possible, across the Brazos Valley, Saturday afternoon and evening. Winds in excess of 40-60mph are the main concern, within the strongest activity. An isolated, brief tornado threat cannot be ruled out. Heavy rainfall between 1" and 3" has the potential to cause localized flash flooding in a few locations.

All branches of the Bryan+College Station Library System will close April 6-8 and reopen April 9. The online catalog will always remain accessible at www.bcslibrary.org.
The City of Bryan Municipal Court will be closed. Any and all court transactions due on that day will only be accepted on Monday, April 9.
The City of Bryan's solid waste and recycling services will operate on the following schedule on Friday:
Solid Waste Collection: Regular schedule
Brush & Bulky Collection: Regular schedule
Yard Waste Collection: Regular schedule
Compost Facility: 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
Drive-In Recycling Center: 8 a.m.-2 p.m.
City of College Station offices will be closed Friday, however, it will be business as usual for the City's Sanitation Department, including residential garbage, residential brush/rubbish, commericial and recycling collections.
All Bryan ISD schools and offices will be closed Friday. Classes and normal business hours will resume on Monday, April 9.
College Station Independent School District is open Friday.
