A nightmarish situation for a Blinn student heading home from school.
Monday night the woman was held up at gunpoint as she was getting out of her car at the Walden Pond Apartments in College Station.
Wednesday night she shared her terrifying story in hopes of finding the man who has caused many sleepless nights.
"As soon as I turned off the ignition he opened my door, put the gun up to my face and told me to give him any money that I had and my cell phone."
This college student, who asked us to conceal her identity, received the fright of her life Monday. She was pulling into a parking space at the Walden Pond Apartments in College Station when a typical evening turned terrifying.
"He actually cocked the gun and it really scared me. I just did not know what to do. I just surrendered my entire life to him and gave him everything he wanted."
What happened next was unexpected.
"He walked away and pretty much told me that he wasn't able to to do it and to take it all back. He gave me back my property and allowed me to go on."
And his parting words have laid heavily on the woman's mind.
"He said now you know that there is a God and I said God Bless and just looked down and he took off."
Authorities say the same unknown suspect may have been involved in a similar robbery in October. Police say a pizza delivery driver was held up at the Zone Apartments. However, this time the robber did not have a change of heart. He took the victim's money and fled.
But, his latest victim believes the suspect is a good person in a bad situation. She wants him found so he can get the help he needs, and she can sleep again.
"All sins are forgiven."
The suspect is described as a black male, in his early twenties with black braided hair and a goatee. He's said to be 5'7'' and was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, blue athletic shorts and a skull cap. If you have any information call College Station police at 979-764-3600.

Let's just hope that the next person DOES have a CHL and stops this criminal in his tracks, permanently.

This is a very lucky lady! This could have ended in a very tragic way for her. I know she is thanking God! I wish her well in recovering from the psychological trauma of this event.

TO: Posted by: What? Location: CS on Nov 5, 2009 at 08:57 AM I agree. This is not the Wild wild west anymore, if he wanted her dead, he would have shot her before she could dig into her purse or strap before removing the gun. by him seeing her reaching for a gun (if she had one) human reaction would have caused him to pull the trigger and the headline would have been "woman killed outside of home"
