A two-vehicle accident in Leon County put three people from Bryan-College Station on a collision course, killing one.

State troopers say 18-year-old A&M freshman Amy Foster was killed when she ran off Highway 79 and then pulled into oncoming traffic. Foster's car was hit on the driver's side by an on-coming pickup driven by 26-year-old Katie Leunes of Bryan.

Neither Leunes nor her passenger, 18-year-old Joel Cryer of Bryan, was seriously injured.

Foster, an economics major from Bossier City, Louisiana, was pronounced dead at the scene.
