Officials say there's a new kind of bully in town, and this one may even be in your own home.
With the readily available use of the Internet, blogs, text and instant messages, kids are using "cyber- bullying" to inflict harm on others.
Officials say Bryan-College Station is not immune to these online dangers. That's why the twin cities and several sponsors are hosting an informational meeting.
"Beyond Myspace" will present vital information on how advanced technology is used to hurt others. The session will also address the topic of online predators, and other online dangers.
The informational is free, and will be held Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. At the Bryan Municipal Building.
