A FLOOD ADVISORY has been issued for Montgomery and San Jacinto counties until 6:15pm. A FLASH FLOOD WATCH is in effect for Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Lee, Madison, Montgomery, San Jacinto, Trinity, Walker, Waller, and Washington Counties until 7am SUNDAY. 1" to 3" of rain, with localized totals between 5" & 7" will be possible as a slow moving, weak cold front arrives through early Sunday.
College Station police are investigating a sexual assault and robbery after four to five men allegedly invaded a home.
According to officers, four people inside an apartment in the 1000 block of Balcones were held at gunpoint after a woman answered a knock at the door. When the woman opened the door, a gunman reportedly used a rifle-type firearm to force his way into the apartment.
Once the gunman made his way inside, several other men with bandanas supposedly entered the apartment and began searching for valuables. Before leaving, authorities believe one of the men took the woman into a bedroom and sexually assaulted her.
All the suspects, described a black men, fled the scene with undisclosed amount of property and cash. Police say they have received some leads they are investigating.
