There is a moderate risk for severe thunderstorms through late Friday evening.
A powerful storm system will continue to push eastward and bring increasing rain chances to the Brazos Valley. A very unstable atmosphere will promote the development for large hail and damaging winds. While the highest risk for tornadoes will remain in northeast Texas, isolated twisters are also possible in the Brazos Valley.
