Monday, Bryan Mayor Mark Conlee filed paper work in Brazos County Clerk's office to claim a campaign treasurer. It's the first step towards Conlee running for Brazos County judge. Mayor Conlee has yet to make an official announcement and tells News 3 it's hard to know a time frame of when the announcement will be made. The Bryan resident was elected to the Bryan City Council in May 2004 and elected as Mayor in May 2007.
Current Brazos County Judge Randy Sims said he would not run for re-election in 2010. Former Bryan Mayor Ernie Wentrcek said earlier in the year he planned to run for Brazos County judge.

Salaries can be found on Brazos County Website under the budget.
Not excited about this news! Not a good mayor, and sure don't want him in any other seat serving in Brazos County. All these city council meetings this man has voted on issues related to Downtown Bryan when his family owns many lots and parts that they benefit from. Whats wrong with that picture? Conlee is very unprofesional as he smirks and grins durning coucil meetings at citizens and council comments. If not his idea is not an option. Ready for him to get out of Dodge and its up to the citizen of Bryan to Vote NO when and if he runs. Stupid is as stupid does! What a nightmare!
i wish kbtx would list the benefits and salaries for the judge and commissiners. Espececially if they serve 3 terms.
