A routine traffic stop landed a Bryan man in jail Sunday night.

College Station police say they stopped a vehicle around 10:30pm Sunday near the intersection of Harvey Mitchell Parkway and Welsh in College Station.

The driver's license was suspended, and an officer suspected drug use and searched the car, according to police.

Police say they found two and a half pounds of marijuana, as well as a pistol.

Frederick Harrison, 25, was arrested for driving with an invalid license, possession of marijuana, and unlawful carrying of a weapon.
