Widespread 2" to 4" rain accumulations are possible through Monday, with localized 8" to 11" possible.
A College Station man accused of beating his ex-girlfriend with a hammer was indicted Thursday by a Brazos County grand jury.
Labrandon Searcy, 22, is charged with burglary of a habitation and aggravated assault in retaliation, both first-degree felonies.
According to police reports, Searcy's ex-girlfriend said he broke into her home, punched her repeatedly and then struck her with a hammer.
Searcy was also indicted for violating a protective order by assault/stalking.
