Traffic Stop Sends Two to Jail on Suspicion of Drugs

A routine traffic stop late Tuesday night near Griffin Chapel in Milam County led to drug arrests.

Police searched the vehicle during the stop due to suspicion of drugs.

Officers say the found a large paper sack which contained three gallon sized Zip-Loc bags full of marijuana. Police also say they discovered six golf ball sized bags of crack cocaine.

The driver and owner of the vehicle, 21-year-old Nathan Loden of Fort Hood, and his passenger, 20-year-old Timothy Montgomery of Killeen, were taken into custody.

Both are being held in the Milam County Jail.
