A routine traffic stop late Tuesday night landed a Fort Hood soldier and another man behind bars.

The incident happened near Griffin Chapel in Milam County. Sheriff's Deputies searched the vehicle after noticing an odor coming from the car.

Deputies say they found a large paper sack containing three-gallon-sized plastic bags full of marijuana. Investigators also say they discovered six small bags of crack cocaine.

The driver and owner of the vehicle, 21-year-old Nathan Loden of Fort Hood, and his passenger, 20-year-old Timothy Montgomery of Killeen, were taken into custody. Both are being held in the Milam County Jail.
