An inadvertently-punctured conduit led to an information superhighway jam at the city of Bryan Wednesday afternoon.
Water in the basement of the municipal building caused computer and telephone systems to shut down. It was the result of some contracted work in the area, and not anything weather-related.
City officials hope to have all operations fully restored by Thursday.
If for any reason you aren't able to reach someone at the city and have immediate business to take care of, you're asked to call 821-5700 or 209-5900.
