Candidates vying for a city council or school board seat in Bryan and College Station will meet face-to-face next week. The Legislative Affairs Committee of the Bryan-College Station Chamber of Commerce will host a Local Candidates Forum on Monday, April 30th. It will be held at the Chamber office, 4001 East 29th Street, Suite 175, in Bryan.
The Forum will begin with three predetermined questions composed by the B/CS Chamber of Commerce Legislative Affairs Committee. During the remainder of the evening, business-related questions will be accepted from both the live and listening audience in written form. Questions may be submitted in person at the forum, by fax to 979-260-5208 or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org. All the questions will be screened by the Chamber.
The forums are open to the public and free of charge. The forum will be broadcast live on WTAW - News Talk 1620AM and by KBTX-TV streaming video at www.kbtx.com.
