Under the direction of Marcello Bussiki, the talented musicians of the Brazos Valley Symphony Orchestra brought "Peter and the Wolf" to life on Saturday, in the second installment of the 2007 Starlight Music Series.
"Their mission is to bring fine orchestral music to the Brazos Valley, which is pleasing to any crowd," said Sheila Walker, Special Events Coordinator for College Station Parks and Recreation. "Performed exquisitely by the symphony, this night will be magical as the music leads our imaginations under the stars."
The Symphony also performed a Flute Concerto by Jacques Ibert. Additionally, the Blinn College Beyond Caribbean Steel Band performed on stage prior to "Peter and the Wolf."
The Starlight Music Series is presented by College Station Parks and Recreation and College Station Utilities.
