The head of Texas' Democratic Party rallied support in the Twin Cities Monday.
Boyd Ritchie sat down with local Democrats and touted gains for the party in the state House, the Congress and numerous counties. He also discussed his five-point plan to, as he put it, revitalize the Democratic party in Texas.
"We hope to let folks know about the Democratic Party and what our message is and what our principals are, and that we're reaching out to voters all across the state of Texas, in every corner of the state for that matter," Ritchie said.
Ritchie was unanimously voted to head up the state Democratic Party one year ago.
