Alleged Supplier Arrested in Game Room Bust

The seventh and final person has been arrested in connection with an illegal gaming operation in Grimes County.

James Gardner of Tomball was taken into custody Wednesday.

The 63-year-old faces the same charges as the other six arrested, including engaging in organized crime, money laundering, keeping a gambling place, possession of a gambling device and promotion of gambling.

Gardner was released Wednesday afternoon on a $27,500 bond.

On Monday, a multi-agency investigation confiscated $11,000 and 41 slot machines at a business in Todd Mission.
