A potentially catastrophic situation was averted today at A&M Consolidated High School. School officials say they were informed a 15-year old student was trying to buy a gun so he could kill classmates who had made fun of him in the past. Police were notified immediately and took the suspect into custody. He's charged with making a terroristic threat and is being held at the Juvenile Detention Center. Due to his age, the name of the suspect is being withheld.
