An Austin County man, who police say tried to solicit sex from a teenager, was indicted Thursday by a Brazos County grand jury.
Steve Huebner, 41, was indicted on six counts of online solicitation of a minor.
Police say the Industry resident traveled to Bryan in March, hoping to meet someone he thought was 14-year-old girl he had been chatting with online, according to court documents.
But the person Huebner had been chatting with was actually a police officer, according to authorities.
Upon his arrival to a Bryan convenience store, which was the alleged meeting place, he was arrested by Bryan's Direct Deployment Team.
