Area motorists may experience some delays over the next few weeks as Union Pacific Railroad completes rail improvements.
Crossings at Holleman Drive, Cain Road, Rock Prairie Road, and North Graham Road will be affected by the construction as the rails are replaced over each intersection.
The Holleman, Cain and Rock Prairie railroad crossings will be completely closed to traffic during the construction. The Holleman closure will take place on Monday, May 7th and should be finished by Wednesday, May 9th. Closures on Cain and Rock Prairie will follow as construction moves to those intersections.
Work on each intersection will take about three working days. The North Graham railroad crossing is not actually a traffic intersection, but may slow traffic in that area.
Motorists are encouraged to avoid these areas if possible and should obey all construction warning signs in the work area.
