Back to back accidents in College Station shut down part of Earl Rudder Freeway Sunday afternoon.
Police say the first happened when the driver of a Dodge truck swerved off the road, over-corrected and spun out of control, before coming to a stop.
A few minutes later, police say a second accident occurred due in part to traffic congestion from the first.
Officials say the driver of a Toyota Corolla hit a parked car while missing another vehicle that had swerved in front of it.
Two people were taken to St. Joseph's Regional Health Center and were treated for non-life threatening injuries. Police say no citations have been issued.
Northbound lanes of Earl Rudder Freeway were shut down for about one hour while crews cleared the roadway.
