A Cameron man is awaiting extradition to California after he was arrested Saturday in connection with a murder in the sunshine state.
Cameron police say California authorities called Saturday requesting the arrest of Jesus Juan Delgado.
Officers subsequently arrested Delgado, 57. He is currently being held in the Milam County Jail.
Jail officials say Delgado, who also goes by Jesus Juan Olivarez, has been charged with murder and robbery. Both charges stem from incidents in California.
Delgado has yet to go in front of a judge for the extradition process.
