A Caldwell toddler who's been missing for a month is now safe at home, and his parents are charged with kidnapping.
The boy's mother, Erica Shae Carter, 25, is charged with kidnapping. She is at Burleson County jail on a $10,000 bond.
Investigators are still looking for the boy's non-custodial parent, Anthony Robert Comeaux. A warrant has been issued for the 33-year-old's arrest.
Investigators say the two-year-old boy was placed in a caregiver's home while CPS was investigating child abuse. Investigators say the boy was taken during one of the parents supervised visits.
The boy was turned over to Child Protective Services early Wednesday morning by his grandmother. There is no word on how she got the child.
