Two groups looking towards the future of economic growth in the Brazos Valley sat down to talk business.
Innovation and economic development were on the minds of many at an informational luncheon hosted at the Hilton Friday afternoon.
The Research Valley Technology Alliance co-hosted the event with the Research Valley Partnership to highlight the idea of promoting a network of technology-oriented companies by teaming up with local community and technology leaders.
The idea behind it is to innovate and inspire local development.
"Really if you look at our future, I believe at least that our greatest economic opportunity is our ability to grow within," said Todd McDaniel of the Research Valley Partnership.
Officials say the luncheon offered an opportunity to share a component of their strategic plan for future development.
