A Houston man who once helped run a former Bryan moving company has been sentenced for stealing money from the business.
Christopher Colbert was arrested in May of 2005 for writing company checks to himself and forging the owner's signature.
In all, police say the company lost more than $160,000.
Colbert was charged with 12 counts of forgery, three counts of theft, and one count each of fraud and tampering with a government document.
Most of those charges, however, were thrown out when Judge J.D. Langley sentenced Colbert on Thursday.
Colbert was sentenced to 90 days in jail on one count of forgery and five years probation on one count of theft.
