The Brazos County Juvenile Detention Center is looking into adding additional razorwire to their current fenceline, after a 16 year old boy was able to make a run for it.
The teen jumped both a security fence and a razor wire fence to escape the detention center.
He was on the loose for only about 10-15 minutes before being apprehended down the road.
No one was injured during the incident, and officials say they are still looking into Thursday's event.
Plans for improving the existing fences are already underway.
