At Least Six Dead in Central Texas Flooding

DALLAS -- Rescue teams suspended their search Saturday for a man now presumed to be the sixth person killed by rising waters in Central Texas.

And forecasters warned that the recurring rain could cause more flooding statewide.

A daylong search that included cadaver dogs and kayakers on the swollen Pedernales River ended with 22-year-old Edgar Garcia still missing. He hasn't been heard from since Thursday, when the current swept away his sport utility vehicle.

There have been five other storm-related deaths, including two brothers ages 5 and 6.

Forecasters expect the storms to continue Sunday. They have dumped more than 10 inches of rain in some areas.
