Three men have pleaded guilty to their involvement in the shooting death of a Bryan man.

Aldo Hernandez, Javier Marez and Rodger Juarez pleaded guilty Tuesday to engaging in organized crime. All three received a 15 month jail sentence.

The three defendants had been charged with murder, but those charges were dropped Tuesday morning. Prosecutors say they believe the plea agreements are a just sentence for their role in the crime.

That crime happened In February 2006 when Antonio Rodriguez, 24, was found dead on the porch at a home on Groesbeck Street.

Gerardo Garcia of Bryan was also arrested in connection with the shooting and charged with engaging in organized crime and murder. His case is still open.
