The search for a Crockett man missing for a week came to sad end late Wednesday evening.
The body of Harold Sissom was found inside his 1992 white Ford Escort. A search team recovered the vehicle trapped from debris and high water in a large culvert on FM 230 out of Lovelady.
Sissom was last seen leaving for work on May 24, but family members say he never made it.
The 54-year-old was a severe diabetic and insulin dependent. An autopsy is pending.
