A Saturday morning accident in College Station shut down a section of Highway 6.
College Station police say it happened around 3 a.m. in the 2400 block of South Highway 6.
Police say two vehicles collided head on, trapping one of the drivers.
Rescue crews had to get the driver, who's name has not been released, out of the vehicle.
Both drivers were taken to College Station Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
Police say the section of the highway where the accident happened was shut down for about three hours.
