College Station police are investigating an accident that seriously injured a Somerville woman. Police say it happened around 1 p.m. Saturday near the intersection of Raymond Stotzer Parkway and Discovery Drive.

That's where police say a truck and van collided. Police believe the truck, driven by Ryan Huff of College Station, was headed north on Discovery when it was hit by the van travelling east bound on Raymond Stotzer.

The driver of the van, Estelle Brandenburg, 73, was taken to St. Joseph Regional Health Center in Bryan for serious injuries to her legs and chest. She was listed in critical condition Saturday night.

Huff, 21, did not sustain any injuries and did not require medical treatment.

The police department's accident investigation unit is investigating the accident. The cause of the accident has not yet been determined
