More H1N1 Vaccines Arrive in Brazos County
The Brazos County Health Department has received another shipment of the H1N1 flu vaccine.

The Brazos County Health Department has received another shipment of the H1N1 flu vaccine. The vaccine will be administered for free on a limited basis beginning Tuesday, December 1, 2009 from 2:00-5:30 p.m.

Thereafter, vaccine will be distributed on a limited basis during
regular immunization clinic hours on Wednesday, December 2 through Friday, December 11, as supply allows. Regular immunization clinic hours include:

· Monday: 8:30-11:30 a.m.
· Tuesday: 2:00-5:30 p.m.
· Wednesday: 8:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
· Friday: 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

All immunization clinics will be held at the Brazos County Health Department. Anyone 6 months old to 65 years of age is eligible to receive the vaccine.

The health department continues to encourage those individuals included in the high risk priority groups to get vaccinated.
Healthcare providers in Brazos County have begun to receive the H1N1 vaccine, as well. The public is encouraged to contact their primary healthcare provider to determine availability. H1N1 vaccine is becoming readily available, so H1N1 flu vaccine clinics will continue to be scheduled on a regular basis.
