PLANO, Texas (AP) - Former Alaska governor and GOP vice
presidential candidate Sarah Palin's book-signing tour is bringing
her to Texas, and includeS a stop at Fort Hood Friday Evening.
Palin stopped Friday to sign copies of her new book, "Going
Rogue," at Legacy Books in the Dallas suburb of Plano. About 1,500
people queued up at the independent bookstore to see Palin. Some
fans lined up before dawn in an effort, during near-freezing
temperatures, to be among the first to greet her.
Palin hasn't been speaking to most reporters during her tightly
controlled, stay-on-message book tour.
She is scheduled to sign books at Fort Hood on Friday at 6PM.
Her visit comes a month after an Army psychiatrist is accused in a
mass shooting spree on the Texas Army post that killed 13 and
wounded dozens more.

Sarah Palin paid back the state of Alaska for her living on the government dole only after it came out that she was doing that & she was told it was illegal. Like I said, Miss Sarah will brazenly do whatever she wants to do, until someone stands up & stops her. The government of Alaska stopped her from freeloading when they found about it. She thought it might be illegal but did it anyway, being as she was Sarah Palin & had special privileges (in her mind) to use taxpayer money. The reason anyone would pay attention to Sarah Palin is that she is a walking talking Fascinating Freak Show--the kind we Americans like to watch! I guess Time will tell as to whether President Obama can clean up the horrific mess caused by George W. Bush & the Republicans. My money is on Obama! Wonder where Sarah Palin will be in 2012? Running for president I hope, as that will quarantee a Democratic win. SARAH, YOU GO GIRL!
mr democrat and observer would probably be all for sarah if she had a plan to control their health care, freedom to bear arms and slowly erode their rights. Typical leftwingers with their heads in the sand.
Mr. Democrat and Observer - I have some reservations about Gov. Palin, but not nearly the ones I have about your party's push to enslave the people of the US to the Federal government, and I think that is what has y'all's panties so tied up. Gov. Palin repaid what she owed the state, Democrats figure the state owes them what they take, and won't. Her daughter has far better standing to preach abstinance than most other: she has made a mistake and wants to help others not to do so. I agree with some of the other posters that y'all must fear her a good deal to pay so much attention to her. And speaking of falling political stars, when November 2012 rolls around, I doubt that Obama and his cronies could get elected to Assistant Dogcatcher for Six Toe County Illinois. I am so looking forward to voting against his socialist agenda again! I just wish that either party gave a hoot about the Consititution anymore.
